John O. Roane was a judge for the Cooke County Court in Cooke County, Texas.[1] He served as a judge for the court from May 2009 until his retirement from the bench on December 31, 2014.[2][3]

Career

Before he became a judge for the Cooke County Court, Roane served as a justice of the peace in Valley View, Texas, from 1997 to 2009. He also previously worked as a supervisor at Texas Instruments, owned a cattle business, and served as an officer in the United States Air Force for twenty years.[2]

Roane was re-elected to the Cooke County Court after running unopposed.[citation needed]
