John Watkins Oliver (1914-1990) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri.
Oliver was nominated by President John F. Kennedy on March 5, 1962, to a seat vacated by Randle Smith; he was confirmed by the Senate on April 2, 1962, and received his commission April 3rd. He served as chief judge from 1977 until he assumed senior status on November 3, 1980. he served until his death on April 25, 1990. Oliver was succeeded in this position by Brook Bartlett.
