Education
Silvestri earned his undergraduate degree from Hofstra University in 1976. He earned his J.D. from Pace University School of Law in 1981.[4]

Chauvin ran for election as a Supreme Court Justice on November 8th after winning the Democratic endorsement. He earned 19.4% of the vote and was defeated by incumbent John Lahtinen, Robert Chauvin and Ann Crowell for three open seats.[5][6][7]
