John Willamowski

John R. Willamowski is a judge on the Ohio Third District Court of Appeals. He was elected to the Third District Court of Appeals on November 7, 2006 and took office on February 9, 2007.^[1] He will be up for re-election in 2012, when his 6-year term ends.^[2]

Biography

He received his undergraduate degree in philosophy from the University of Notre Dame and his law degree from Ohio Northern University.^[3]

Legal career

John Willamowski served a total of five terms in the Ohio House of Representatives from 1997 to 2006. He also worked as a private practice lawyer in Northwest Ohio for over 21 years. ^[3] He was elected to the Court of Appeals in November of 2006.
