John Wise

John W. Wise is a judge on the Ohio Fifth District Court of Appeals. He was elected to this position in 1995.^[1]

Biography

Judge Wise graduated from Ohio Northern University School of Law in 1979. He is now married and has two children.^[1]

Legal career

Judge Wise began his legal career as a private practice lawyer. He worked in this capacity for 10 years, practicing in the areas of general civil litigation (including personal injury from both plaintiff and defense side) and probate practice. He was elected to the Canton Municipal Court in 1990. He was then elected to the Stark County Court of Common Pleas.^[1]
