Joseph B. Morris is a judge on the Texas Fifth District Court of Appeals. He has served in this position since 1992.[1] His current term ends on December 31, 2012.[2]
Education
Justice Morris received his law degree from Southern Methodist University's Dedman School of Law in 1973.[1]
Legal career
Justice Morris began his legal career in 1973 as a private practice lawyer in Dallas. He worked in this capacity until 1987, when he joined the 101st District Court in Dallas as the presiding judge. In 1992, he joined the Fifth District Court of Appeals.[1]
