Joseph Brannon Dooley (1889-1967) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
Dooley was nominated to the Northern District of Texas by President Harry Truman on January 8, 1947, to a seat vacated by James Wilson; he was confirmed by the Senate on July 8, 1947, and received his commission on July 9th. In 1959 he served as the chief judge. He assumed senior status on October 1, 1966. He served the Northern District of Texas until his death on January 19, 1967.[1]
