Joseph H. Field is an active retired judge for the West Bath District Court in Sagadahoc County, Maine. He was appointed as a full-time judge in 1990 and retired from the court in January of 2012, but chose to continue hearing cases as an "active retired" judge.[1][2][3]
Education
Field received his B.A. degree (in History) from Harvard College in 1969 and his law degree from the University of Maine School of Law in 1976.[3]
Career
Field began his career in 1976 as an Assistant District Attorney with the Maine Prosecutorial District Six. He then worked as a private practice lawyer in Brunswick from 1980 until his judicial appointment in 1990.[3]
