G. Joseph Pierron, Jr. is a judge on the Kansas Court of Appeals. He has served in this position since December 11, 1990. He was retained by voters in 2008  to a term ending in 2014. He was retained again on Nov. 6, 2012 for a term that expires on December 31, 2016.
Judge Pierron graduated from Rockhurst College in 1968 and the University of Kansas School of Law in 1971. 
Judge Pierron began his legal career in 1971 as an assistant county and district attorney in Johnson County. In 1972, he also served as a municipal judge of Spring Hill. He became a district judge on the 10th Judicial District Court in Olathe in 1982 and he held this position until he was appointed to the Court of Appeals.
