Joseph S. Solomon was a Pennsylvania magisterial district judge for Dauphin County Magisterial District.[1] He retired at the end of 2011.[2]

Dauphin County President Judge Todd A. Hoover recommended the closure of Solomon's office after he announced his retirement. The state Supreme Court formally ordered the closure in a ruling issued in April 2011. The court closed district judge offices statewide as a cost-cutting measure.[2]
