Judge Sparks receives award

Texas: Judge Sam Sparks of the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas received, on September 25, 2010, the Sandra Day O'Connor Award from the American College of Trial Lawyers. Judge Sparks is the second recipient of the award, which was established in 2007 and recognizes judicial independence. He has served as a federal judge since November of 1991 and hears most cases in Ausitn, TX.[1]
