Judicial Nominating Commission seeks applications for 5 open judgeships

LINCOLN, Nebraska: The Judicial Nominating Commission is now accepting applications to fill the five vacancies in four of Nebraska's judicial districts.

The vacancies are due to the recent retirements of Douglas County Judge Thomas McQuade, Douglas County District Judge Gerald Moran, Dakota County District Judge William Binkard, Fillmore County Judge Jack Ott, and Box Butte County District Judge Brian Silverman.

The applications to fill these vacancies are due in April, with details and applications being found on the Nebraska Judicial Branch website.[1]
