Proposed legislation regarding the judiciary in Wisconsin.

2009

Assembly Bill 65[1] and Senate Bill 40[2] are two identical bills in the Wisconsin House and Senate. They seek to change campaign finance law for candidates running for the Wisconsin Supreme Court. The bills would create public financing for campaigns for candidates "abide by a spending limit of $400,000". [3]

Assembly Bill 63[4] and Senate Bill 43[5] are two identical bills in the Wisconsin House and Senate. These bills seek to impose registration and reporting requirements upon individuals and organizations that use the media to refer to a candidate or election within 60 days of the vote.
