Julie Kunce Field is a judge of the Colorado Eighth Judicial District. She was appointed by Gov. Bill Ritter, effective January 1, 2011, and must run for retention to the seat in 2012 election if she wants to continue serving. [1]
Education
Field received her undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1982 and her J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School in 1985. [2]
Career
Before joining the court, Field was the founder and Executive Director of the Confidentiality Institute. She has also worked as a professor at several law schools. [2]
