Field received her undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1982 and her J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School in 1985. [2]

Career

Before joining the court, Field was the founder and Executive Director of the Confidentiality Institute. She has also worked as a professor at several law schools. [2]
