Karen Braxton is a judge on the 3rd Circuit Court in Michigan. In 2012, she was elected to the court to a term expiring in 2019.
Education
Braxton received her undergraduate degree from the University of Rochester and her J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law.[1]
Career
Immediately prior to assuming the bench, Braxton worked as an attorney in private practice.[1]
2012 election
Braxton advanced from the primary election, receiving 12.72% of the vote. She was one of six candidates competing for three seats on the 3rd Circuit Court. Braxton was elected with 18.7% of the vote. [2][3] [4]
