F. Keith Ball is a magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi. He was appointed to this position in November of 2009 to replace the retired Judge James Summer.[1]
Education
Judge Ball received his law degree in 1990 from the University of Mississippi School of Law.[1]
Career
Judge Ball began his career practicing law with Phelps Dunbar and Currie Johnson in Jackson, Mississippi. He then ran his own practice in Louisville, Mississippi, for about six years. He returned to practice with Currie Johnson for a time and then became the Director of Development at Reformed University Ministries. He was appointed to the District Court in 2009.[1]
