Kevin Brobson is a judge on the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court. He was elected on November 3, 2009, effective January 4th. His current term will expire in December of 2019.[1][2][3]
Education
Brobson received his undergraduate degree from Lycoming College and his law degree from the Widener University School of Law. [4]
Legal career
Prior to his election to the Commonwealth Court, Brobson was an attorney in the Harrisburg area and a shareholder in the Pittsburgh firm Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney PC. [4][5]

Brobson ran as a Republican for one of two open seats on the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court in 2009. He received 35.2%of the vote (291,387) on the May 19, 2009 Republican Primary election [6] and 26.1% of the vote in the November general election. [1]
Endorsements
The Pennsylvania Bar Association endorsed Brobson, saying that "he has demonstrated the legal ability sufficient to have earned the respect of lawyers and members of the bench" and "has the appropriate judicial temperament" to serve on the court. [4]
He was also endorsed for the Commonwealth Court by the Philadelphia Inquirer [7] and the Patriot-News. [8]
