Kevin M. Korsmo is a judge on the Washington Court of Appeals, Division III. He was appointed to this position by Gov. Gregoire on January 31, 2008[1], he took office on February 13th[2], and he was retained by voters on November 4th of that year[3]. His term ends in 2014.

Education

Judge Korsmo received his B.S. degree from North Dakota State University in 1979 and his J.D. degree from the University of Washington School of Law in 1982. [2]

Legal career

After law school, Judge Korsmo began his legal career as an associate of the Law Offices of L. William Houger. In 1984, he began working as a trial attorney for the Snohomish County Prosecutor's Office. He became an appellate attorney in this Office four years later. He joined the Spokane County Prosecutor's Office in 1990, where he worked until his appointment to the Court of Appeals in 2008.[2][1]
