Lawrence Winthrop is a judge on the
Arizona Court of Appeals, Division One. He was appointed to the position in 2002 and as per the rules for
judicial selection in Arizona, faced his first
retention election in 2004. He was retained with 416,420 affirmative votes versus 147,705 negative votes.
