Limestone County, Alabama

Limestone County is the only county in the 39th Circuit of Alabama.[1]

The people of Limestone County are served by a Circuit Court, District Court, Probate Court and five Municipal Courts.

The United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama has jurisdiction in Limestone County. Appeals from the Northern District go to the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
