Linda D. Bernard ran for judge on the Thirty-Sixth Judicial District Court in Michigan in 2012.
2012 election
Bernard advanced from the primary election on August 7th, winning 13.05% of the vote. She was defeated in the general election on November 6, receiving 23.19% of the vote. [1][2][3]

The DMBA rated candidates running for judicial office in 2012. Candidates were given one of five ratings: Outstanding, Well Qualified, Qualified, Not Qualified or No Rating.
Bernard was rated as Qualified.[4]

Education
Bernard received her undergraduate degree from Wayne State University in 1970, her J.D. its Law School in 1973, and a LL.M. from the University of Pennsylvania in 1975. [6]
Career
Bernard has been an attorney in private practice since 2001. [6]
