Lisa L. Sadler is a judge on the Ohio Tenth District Court of Appeals. She was elected to this position on November 5, 2002 and took office on July 1, 2003.[1] She was re-elected in November of 2008 to a term ending on June 30, 2015.[2]
Education
Sadler received her B.S. degree in social welfare from Ohio State University in 1980 and a J.D. degree from Capital University Law School in 1984. [3][4]
Legal career
Judge Sadler began her legal career in July of 1984 as an Assistant Columbus City Attorney. She worked in the Civil Division, Litigation Section and the Prosecutor's Division of this office. In January of 1991, she began working as Deputy Chief Legal Counsel to Governor Voinovich. She held this position until May of 1992, when she became a judge on the Franklin County Municipal Court. She moved to the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas in March of 1996, where she served until taking office on the Court of Appeals in 2003. [3]
