Louis Earl Goodman (1892-1961) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.

Goodman was nominated by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt on November 9, 1942, to a seat vacated by Harold Louderback; he was confirmed by the Senate on December 15, 1942, and received commission on December 24, 1942. From 1958-1961, he served as the chief judge. He served the Northern District of California until his death on September 15, 1961. Goodman was succeeded in this position by Stanley Weigel.
