The Court of Appeals for the First Circuit consists of twelve sitting judges. The Court has jurisdiction over sixteen parishes in Southeastern Louisiana - Ascension, Assumption, East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, Iberville, Lafourche, Livingston, Pointe Coupee, St. Helena, St. Mary, St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, Terrebonne, Washington, West Baton Rouge, and West Feliciana.
The Court meets at 1600 North Third Street in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
