Maria Elena Cruz is the judge for Division 6 of the Yuma County Superior Court in Arizona.[1] Her current term expires in 2016.
Education
Cruz received her undergraduate degree from University of Arizona and her J.D. from the University of Arizona College of Law.[2] [3]
Career
Cruz is currently a Yuma County Superior Court judge. Prior to her election to the bench, she was in private practice and worked as a Judge Pro Tempore for the Cocopah Indian Tribe. She has also served as an attorney with Yuma County Attorney’s Office and as an Assistant Legal Defender.[2]
