Marielsa A. Bernard is a judge on the Sixth Circuit Court for Montgomery County in Maryland. She was appointed to the court by former Governor Parris N. Glendening and assumed office on March 1, 2002.[1] Her current term expires in 2019.[2]


Bernard received her undergraduate degree in political science from Loyola College in 1977 and her J.D. from the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law in 1980.[3]
