L. Mark Bailey is a judge on the Indiana Court of Appeals, 1st district. He was appointed by Governor O'Bannon and took office on January 30, 1998. He was retained in 2000.[1] His current term ends in 2010.
Education
Judge Bailey earned his B.A. from the University of Indianapolis and his J.D. from the University School of Law at Indianapolis. He went on to earn an M.B.A. from Indiana Wesleyan University. [1]
Legal career
Judge Bailey has worked as a trial court judge, an administrative law judge, and a practicing attorney. He has also served on various boards and committees. Prior to his appointment to the Appellate Court, he was a judge of the Decatur County Court and Decatur Superior Court.[1]
