Mark Cady

Mark Cady was appointed to the Iowa Supreme Court in 1998. His current term expires on December 31, 2016.[1]
Biography
Justice Cady received his undergraduate and law degrees from Drake University. He graduated from law school in 1978.[1]
Legal career
Justice Cady began his legal career as a law clerk for the 2nd Judicial District. After one year, he became an assistant Webster County attorney and a lawyer practicing with a firm in Fort Dodge. He became a district associate judge in 1983 and a district court judge in 1986. He was appointed to the Iowa Court of Appeals in 1994 and became the judge of that court in 1997. He joined the Supreme Court in 1998. [1]
