Ries earned her bachelor's degree in education from Western Montana College and J.D. from the University of Montana School of Law.[1]
Career
Ries has served as a Pondera County Attorney since 2005. From 1993 to 1998 she served as Pondera County Justice of the Peace and City Judge for both Conrad and Valier. [1]
2012 election
Ries ran unsuccessfully for the 9th District Court. She defeated Greg W. Duncan in the June 5th primary election, but was defeated by Bob Olson in the November 6th election. [2][3]
