Mary DeGenaro is a judge on the Ohio Seventh District Court of Appeals. She was elected to this position in November of 2000[1]. She was re-elected to a 6-year term in November of 2006[2] and will be up for re-election again in 2012, when that term ends.[3]

Biography

Justice DeGenaro received her B.A. degree from Youngstown State University in 1983 and her J.D. degree from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 1986. She is now married and has two sons.[1]

Legal career

Justice DeGenaro interned with U.S. District Judge George White during law school. She then worked as a private practice lawyer with an emphasis on general civil litigation and appellate practice until her election to the Court of Appeals in 2000. From January of 1998 until January of 2001, she also served on the Poland Village Council.[1]
