Mary Kathryn Hoff is currently a judge on the Eastern District of the Missouri Court of Appeals. She was appointed to this position in December of 1995 and retained in 1998. Her term expires on December 31, 2010.[1]
Biography
Judge Hoff was born in St. Louis, Missouri. She earned her B.S. degree in Education from the University of Missouri at Columbia and her J.D. degree from St. Louis University.[1]
Legal career
Judge Hoff began her legal career in 1978 as an Assistant Public Defender in St. Louis. In 1982, she became a private practice lawyer until May of 1989, when she was appointed as a Circuit Judge. She held this position until her appointment to the Court of Appeals in 1995.[1]
