Mary Kilbane

Mary Eileen Kilbane is a judge on the Ohio Eighth District Court of Appeals. She was elected to this position on November 2, 2004 and took office on January 1, 2005.[1] She will be up for re-election in 2010, when her 6-year term ends.[2][3]
Biography
Justice Kilbane is a native of Cleveland, Ohio. She earned a B.A. degree from John Carroll University and a J.D. degree from Cleveland Marshall College of Law. She is now married and has two children.[3]
Legal career
Justice Kilbane worked as a Cuyahoga County Assistant Public Defender for 9 years before becoming a judge. She joined the Cleveland Municipal Court in January of 1996 and worked in that capacity until 2004, when she was elected to the Court of Appeals.[3]
