Melanie May

Melanie G. May is a judge on the Florida Fourth District Court of Appeal. She was appointed to this position in 2002.[1]
Biography
Melanie May graduated from Florida Atlantic University in 1973. She went on to receive her law degree from the Nova Law Center in 1981.
Legal career
Melanie May began her legal career in 1981, working as a law clerk on the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. She became a private practice attorney the next year. She remained in the private practice until 1991, when she became Judge of the 17th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida. She held this position until her appointment to the Court of Appeal in 2002.
