Melina E. Buncome

Melina E. Buncome was a candidate for a seat on the Fourth Circuit Court in Florida.[1]
2012 election
Buncome ran for election on Aug. 14, 2012. She was defeated by incumbent Judge Brian Davis after receiving 24.1% of the vote.[2][3]

Education
Buncome received her undergraduate degree from the University of the Virgin Islands and her J.D. degree from Nova Southeastern University.[4]
Career
Buncome began her legal career in the Public Defender's Office of Broward County. After nearly two years, she left to run her own private law practice for one year. She then joined the Public Defender's Office of the 4th Judicial Circuit, where she has served as an Attorney in the Capital Crimes Unit for 14 years.[4]
