Michael A. Guadagno is a judge on the Appellate Division of the Superior Court in New Jersey as of August 1, 2012.[1]
Education
Guadagno earned a B.A. from Manhattan College, and a J.D. from St. John's University in Jamaica, New York.[2]
Career
Guadagno was appointed the New Jersey Superior Court by Governor Richard Codey in 2005. He served as a judge in the family division of Monmouth County Vicinage until 2008, and then Ocean County Vicinage until February of 2010. He was transferred back to Manmouth County and became presiding judge of the family division in September of 2010. He was appointed to the appointed to the Appellate Division by Chief Justice Stuart Rabner in July of 2012.[1]
Prior to becoming a judge, Guadagno worked in the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office and then in the U.S. Department of Justice Organized Crime Strike Force. He joined the U.S. Attorney’s Office in New Jersey in 1989 and worked there until his judicial appointment.[1]
