Michael E. Daley was a justice for the Herkimer County Supreme Court (Multi-bench) in the 5th Judicial District of New York. He was elected to this position in 2002. He retired in late July of 2011.[1][2][3]

Education

Daley received his B.A. degree from the University of Connecticut and his J.D. degree from the Syracuse University School of Law.[1]

Legal career

Daley began his career in 1978 as an Assistant Onieda County District Attorney. In 1981, he became an Assistant Attorney General, serving New York State. He then returned to his previous position on the Onieda County District Court, where he worked from 1983 through 1992. From 1993 until his judicial election, he worked as a Herkimer County District Attorney. He then joined the Supreme Court in 2002.[1]
