Michael Hluchaniuk is a federal magistrate judge on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. He has served in this position since December of 2007.[1]

Education

Judge Hluchaniuk earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan in 1969 and his law degree from Wayne State University in 1972.[1]

Career

Judge Hluchaniuk has worked for the Michigan Court of Appeals, the the Jackson County Legal Aid Society, the Greater Lansing Legal Aid Bureau, and the Eastern District of Michigan U.S. Attorney’s Office. He has also worked as a private practice lawyer.[1]
