Michael James Vallejos is a judge on the Second Judicial District Court. He was appointed by Governor Bill Ritter to succeed J. Stephen Phillips and took office in December 2010. [1]

Education

Vallejos received his B.S. and B.A. degrees in 1984 from the University of Colorado and his J.D. from the University of Colorado in 1991. [1]

Career

Prior to joining the court, Vallejos served in the Colorado State Public Defender's Office in Denver since 1991. Before serving, he worked in the private practice of law. [1]
