Michael Jesse is a Minnesota Seventh Judicial District judge for Benton County, Minnesota. He was appointed to this position in 2000 and was elected to full terms in 2002 and 2008. His current term ends in January of 2015.[1]

Education

After serving in the U.S. Air Force from 1977 to 1983, Jesse received his B.A. degree from Christopher Newport College in 1983 and his J.D. degree from the Hamline University School of Law in 1985.[1]

Career

Jesse began his legal career in 1986 as an attorney and partner of the firm Curott and Jesse and as an Assistant Public Defender for the 7th Judicial District. He left both of those positions in 1991, when he became a Benton County Attorney. He was then appointed to the District Court in 2000.[1]
