Miguel Marquez is an associate justice of the Sixth District Court of Appeal in California. He was appointed by Governor Jerry Brown on May 18, 2012 and was confirmed by the California Commission on Judicial Appointments the following June 28. He succeeds Richard McAdams. He must run for retention in the next gubernatorial election, which is in 2014.[1][2][3]
Education
Marquez received his undergraduate degree from Stanford University, his Master in Public Policy from Harvard University and his J.D. from UC Berkeley Boalt Hall School of Law. [2]
