Morris Silberman is a judge on the Florida Second District Court of Appeal. He was appointed by Governor Bush and took office on January 2, 2001. He was retained by voters in 2002 and 2008. His current term ends on January 5, 2015.
Morris Silberman graduated from Tulane University and went on to receive his law degree from the University of Florida College of Law in 1982.
Morris Silberman began his legal career working as a law clerk for Judge Herboth S. Ryder of the Second District Court of Appeal. After this, he practiced law in Sarasota and Clearwater for a time before starting his own law firm in 1988.
