Morris Silberman is a judge on the Florida Second District Court of Appeal. He was appointed by Governor Bush and took office on January 2, 2001.[1] He was retained by voters in 2002[2] and 2008.[3] His current term ends on January 5, 2015.[4]

Biography

Morris Silberman graduated from Tulane University and went on to receive his law degree from the University of Florida College of Law in 1982.[1]

Legal career

Morris Silberman began his legal career working as a law clerk for Judge Herboth S. Ryder of the Second District Court of Appeal. After this, he practiced law in Sarasota and Clearwater for a time before starting his own law firm in 1988.[1]
