Myron H. Bright (b. 1919) is a federal judge with the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. Bright is a judge serving on senior status. Judge Bright's duty station is bases in Fargo, ND.

Early life and education

A native of Minnesota, Bright graduated from the University of Minnesota with his Bachelor's Degree in 1941 and his Law Degree in 1947. Bright also graduated from Eveleth Junior College with his associates degree in 1939. He also served as a U.S. Air Force Captain from 1942-1946. [1]

Professional career

Bright served as a private practice licensed in the State of North Dakota from 1947 to 1968. [1]

Judicial career

Nominated by Lyndon B. Johnson on April 25, 1968, to a seat vacated by Charles Vogel. Bright was confirmed by the U.S. Senate on June 6, 1968 on a senate vote and received commission on June 7, 1968. Bright assumed senior status on June 1, 1985. [1]
