Lichtenstein received her B.S. from Northwestern University in 1984 and her J.D. from the University of Denver College of Law in 1988. [4]

Legal career

Lichtenstein served as Deputy State Public Defender, Appellate Division in Denver from 2001 until her appointment to the Court of Appeals. Prior to that, she had a private practice from 1997-2001, and worked as a Deputy State Public Defender, Appellate Division from 1988-1996. [4]

2010 election

Lichtenstein was retained in 2010 with 65.8% of the vote. [5]
