Nancy M. Purpura is a judge of the 3rd Circuit Court in Baltimore County, Maryland. She was appointed to this position by Gov. Martin O'Malley on December 22, 2011 to replace Thomas J. Bollinger, and was elected to a full term in November 2012.[1] Her current term expires in 2027.
Education
Purpura received her undergraduate degree from Towson State University and her J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law.[2]
Career
Purpura previously served as a judge for the 8th District Court.[3] She also served as a trial attorney in the Office of Public Defender of Anne Arundel County and Baltimore County.[2]

Purpura ran unopposed for the seat to which she was appointed.[4] Purpura was successful in her bid, receiving 99.1% of the vote.[5][6]
