Nevada District Courts are the courts of original jurisdiction in the state of Nevada. Appeals from these trial courts go directly to the Nevada Supreme Court as there is no intermediate appellate court in Nevada. [1]

Jurisdiction

The District Courts have general jurisdiction over all legal matters. District Courts may also hear appeals from the Nevada Justice Courts and Nevada Municipal Courts.
