New magistrate judge to join the Central District of California

California: Vijay Chand Gandhi was appointed to the United States District Court for the Central District of California as a magistrate judge. The 38-year-old member of Paul, Hastings, Janofsky and Walker LLP will be sworn in on April 14th.[1]
