Nikki Ann Clark is a judge on the Florida First District Court of Appeal. [1] She was appointed on January 13, 2009 by Governor Crist. She was retained by voters on November 2, 2010 to a 6-year term that expires on January 3, 2017.[2] [3]

Education

Clark graduated from Wayne State University in 1974 and went on to receive her law degree from Florida State University in 1977.[1]

Legal career

Nikki Ann Clark worked for Legal Services of North Florida, Inc. from 1979 to 1981. She then worked as an Assistant Attorney General until 1991. She worked for the Department of Environmental Protection until 1993. That year, she worked in the Office of the Governor and then became a Circuit Judge on the 2nd Florida Judicial Circuit until 2009. She has also been an adjunct professor of law at Florida State University since 1998 and the chair of the Florida Supreme Court Committee on Children and Families in the Court since 2006.[1]

2010 election

Clark was retained on November 2, 2010 with 58.21% of voters in favor.[2][4]
