Colorado: Three nominees have been sent to Governor John Hickenlooper for an upcoming vacancy on the Teller County Court. Jackson Peters announced last month that he will retire from the court on October 1, 2011.
The nominees submitted to the governor by the Fourth Judicial District Nominating Commission are: Linda Margaret Billings-Vela, Theresa L. Kilgore and Michael A. Kirtland. The governor has until September 21 to appoint one of these three candidates. [1]
