Education
St. George received his B.B.A. degree in Accounting from Adelphi University in 1985 and his J.D. degree from the Hofstra School of Law in 1988.[1]
Legal career
St. George began his career in 1988 working for Arthur Anderson & Company. The following year, he left to join the law firm of Reisch, Simoni, Bythewood & Gleason as an associate. In 1991, he became an Assistant District Attorney of Nassau County. He then worked as a partner of the law firm Jackson, Brown, Powell & St. George from 1995 to 1997. He was a self-employed lawyer under the title St. George & Associates from 1997 until 2004.
St. George's judicial career began in 2004 when he was appointed to the Nassau County District Court. He served on that court until 2010. He also served as the Presiding Judge of Domestic Violence Misdemeanors from 2004 to 2006 and as the Presiding Judge of D.W.I. Hearings and Trials from 2006 to 2008. He was appointed to the Nassau County Court in 2008 and was elected to a full term later that year. He was also appointed an Acting Supreme Court Justice in 2008 and was appointed a Presiding Justice of the Integrated Domestic Violence Court in 2010.[1]
