The North Carolina Court of Appeals is the only intermediate appellate court in the state of North Carolina. It is composed of fifteen members who sit in rotating groups of three. Judges serve eight-year terms and are elected in statewide non-partisan elections. [1]

2010 election

Rick Elmore is running for another term on the court in 2010. He is being challenged for the seat by attorneys Al Bain and Leto Copeley. [3][4][5]

Ann Calabria is also running for another term. She is being challenged by Jane P. Gray and Mark E. Klass. [6]

Sanford Steelman and Martha Geer have both filed for re-election. [7]
